BREAKFAST INVITATION
There is an opportunity to get together over breakfast on Friday 10
July 2009. Please join us at Law
Society House at Room 5.03/5.04, Level 5,
179 Ann Street,
Brisbane
from 7 am to 8.30 am. Assorted
muffins/tea/coffee/juice will be provided for a light breakfast. We plan to
begin the presentation by 7.15 am.
Access will be available to the ground floor of the building and via the
lift to the 5th floor for a 7 am start - turn left from the lift door to
find the room.
Apart from the opportunity to catch up, we will have a guest speaker - Elenne
Ford, a barrister and member of Christian Lawyers Society,
who will provide an overview of PeaceWise, a national, non-profit,
non-denominational organisation devoted to helping people learn and apply
biblical principles in seeking Christian solutions to the conflicts we
encounter in all aspects of daily living. Elenne will
include a short introduction to conflict resolution model based on biblical
principles and other information about PeaceWise and its work. She has
provided the following background information:
Since its launch, PeaceWise has provided training in biblical principles
of peacemaking, conflict coaching and mediation to almost 3000 throughout
Australia. Directors of PeaceWise have also conducted multiple seminars for
churches and Christian schools and have also carried out significant
peacemaking work within these contexts where lives have been changed and
hope returned as reconciliation has occurred. You can visit the website for

PeaceWise is conducting training in personal peacemaking on July 29 and
Conflict Coaching on July 30 and 31, 2009.
