The Hon. Paul de Jersey AC Chief Justice of Queensland

Companion of the Order of Australia (2000).

Born 21 September 1948; married Kaye 1971; two daughters and one son: Carolyn, Alison and David.

Secondary education at Anglican Church Grammar School (1961-1965) and then University of Queensland, graduated BA., LL.B.(Hons) 1971; Queensland University Regiment 1966 – 71 (Commissioned 1969)

Appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1985.

Appointed Chief Justice of Queensland 17 February 1998.

Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane since 1991; member of the Chapter of St John’s Cathedral since 1989; member of the Council of the Anglican Church Grammar School 1990-1997.
